Ship's Specification

GENERAL ARRANGEMENT AND INTERIOR

General arrangement is designed so that to make maximum conveniences for passengers and crew.
In the bow of the yacht there are space for rigging and provision store with built-in lockers.
Further to the stem there are 2 passengers' double-cabins. Cabins are united with hygiene units which include WCs, washing rooms and shower rooms. There are also dressers and lockers for clothes and bedding in the cabins. The cabins have natural and forced ventilation. Lighting of the cabins is realized with lamps YOLANDA VETUS in the night time and deck skylight PLANUS ESCAPE HATCHES VETUS Xo 5050.
Further to the stem there is a mess-room united with yacht's duel control panel. Mess-room is situated in the middle part of the yacht, under its floor there are engine, generator, fuel and water tanks, main switchboard. Engine-room has sound insulation of VETUS SOUND INSULATING PLATES type which prevents the mess-room from noise and vibration. There are also forced ventilation and cooling system for the engine. Operation of the engine doesn't demand constant maintenance and overhauling. Engine operation is controlled via the system of indicators.
In the portside mess-room there are a convenient sofa, a table; starboard there is a galley with gas stove, butchering table and double sink with fresh water supply, built-in dressers, fridge and microwave oven. The galley is supplied with the system of forced ventilation. In the right forward comer of the mess-room there is yacht's duel control post which includes steering-wheel, devices for engine operation control, echo sounder, log, radio station, radar screen, GPS screen.
Further to the stem there are 2 double cabins combined with sanitary units which include WC, washing and shower rooms.
Stem cabins are provided with built-in dressers and lockers for clothes, and also have ventilation and lighting analogous to the cabins described above.
Material for cabins walls, ceilings and floors trimming is combined with usage of valuable sorts of wood as well as synthetic fabrics.
Soft parts of berths are made of furniture materials, fabric for bordering is selected so as to match tone and colour of the saloon for making it convenient and elegant. Additional 5-6 berths can be provided in the form of hanging and folding constructions at the customer's request.

Architectural and Structural Type

The yacht has contemporary shapes - straight stem, reversal transom with platform for bathing, superstructure of Deck Saloon type. Rigging is of sloop type.
Deck layout envisages a convenient cockpit where there are al elements of yacht control.

General Arrangement

General arrangement is worked out proceeding from accommodation of 8 passengers and 2 crew members.
In the bow of the yacht there are 2 double cabins which are provided with double beds for married couples. After from the mess-room there are two double-cabins. Cabins are supplied with dressers for clothes and hygiene equipment.
In the central part of the yacht, portside, there is a mess-room for passengers' rest and having meals and starboard there is a galley with electric stove, microwave oven, cold and hot water supply, fridge, chests for keeping of provision.
In the starboard mess-room there is navigator's working place supplied with navigation table, drawers for charts, navigational books, plotting instrument. Here there are also control panels of navigational devices, main switchboard and means of communication and yacht control.

Interior

For yacht's spaces trimming valuable sorts of wood are used (at the customer's request) - mahogany, teak, oak, ash.

Hull

General Information

Yacht's framing meets Rules and Regulations for the Classification of Yachts and Small Craft of Lloyd's Register of Shipping and Guide for Building and Classing of Offshore Racing Yachts of American Bureau of Shipping. Hull is made on Fiberglass Wood Core Construction technology.

Bottom and Side Framing

Yacht's hull has transverse framing system including upper deck, deckhouse and cockpits. Frame spacing - 400 mm.
Bottom and side framing consists of laminated frames. Bottom is also strengthened with system of laminated floors. Pine and oak are used as materials for floors and frames.

Outer Plating

Outer plating is made of pine or cedar with preliminary saturation of battens and protective fiber-glass(-reinforced) coating.

Upper Deck

Upper deck floor is a bakelite plywood, 8 mm thick + batten from cedar or teak, 16x50 mm, hermetic Formaflex or WKT.
Deckhouse and cockpit are veneered and have protective layer of fiber-glass coating.

Bulkheads and Bulkhead Recesses

Material of bulkheads and bulkhead recesses is "marine" veneer veneered with venner.

Ballast Keel

Keel is made of steel plating, 8 mm thick, which is stiffened with brackets. As a ballast lead or cast iron concrete are used. Total mass of keel with ballast - 6,3 tons. The keel is secured to the hull with stud bolts made from stainless steel.

Ship's Gear

Anchor Gear

Anchor gear makes possible yacht's anchoring in the aquatoriums with depth up to 20 m and consists of the following units:
• bow(er) anchor CQR, 65 kg;
• stem anchor DANFORTH, 25 kg;
• anchor synthetic cables, 22 mm in diameter, length 100 and 60 m;
• anchor capstan PUNA II ofVETUS company;
• arrangement for "ready for sea" anchoring and anchor chain guiding through rollers of anchor gear;
• chain locker.

Mooring Gear

Mooring gear consists of 2 forward mooring cleats and 2 after ones, arranged on both sides, 4 synthetic (fiber) mooring ropes, 16m long, and fenders of MD (VETUS) type.

Steering Gear

Steering gear consists of:
• ordinary hollow steel rudder, rudder area - 1.4 m2;
• rudder stock, 120 mm in diameter, made from corrosion-resisting steel 12X18H10E with a quadrant on it, 480 mm in radius for hydraulic drive MTC 72 VETUS;
• lower friction(-type) bearing and upper antifriction(-type) bearing;
• helmsman's column with diameter of steering-wheel - 1200 mm;
• duel post of hydraulic drive;
• detachable emergency tiller for rudder stock placing on 4-side head, facing the deck.

Rescue equipment

The yacht has two life-rafts FICH-IOMK (capacity of every life-raft - 10 persons), 10 life-jackets, 10 safety belts, 4 life buoys and emergency radio buoy.

Railing

Consists of head and quarter(deck) pipe rails with diameter 27x2, rail stanchions, 27x2, and rail rope tightened between them in two rows. Height of railing - 700 mm.

RIG

General Information

Yacht's rig is Marconi sloop. Total max. sail area on conditions of yacht's stability and safe management - 163.6 m2. Full windage is possible if wind strength is up to 17-21 knots, if wind strength is more than 17-21 knots, main sail should be taken in and reefed.

Rig and Rigging

Masts and booms are of welded construction, made from alloy AMr-60M. Section makes up 300x200x5 mm. Firm profile of the mast is used at the customer's request.

Rig is strengthened with standing rigging of stainless steel rope.

Shafting and Propeller

Shafting consists of propeller shaft, sterntube, thrust and steady bearings, elastic coupling, cooling system of sterntube arrangement and thrust bearing.
A fixed-blade propeller is used on the yacht.

Powerplant Systems

For good functioning of powerplant the following systems are provided:
• fuel system;
• lub-oil system;
• fresh water and sea-water cooling system;
• gas-extraction system;
• main engine starting system with accumulator batteries VETUS 143 A4;
• mechanical ventilating system of the engine-room;
• air feeding system to the engine-room.

Engine-Room

In the engine-room besides main engine there are mechanisms for ship's service systems:
• drainage electric motor pump;
• fresh water sanitary unit. Engine-room has acoustic insulation.

Systems

Fresh Water System

This system is for keeping, heating and supplying of fresh water to the galley sinks, WC wash-stands and shower rooms.

Fresh water system consists of:
• inserted tanks made of non-corrodible steel 12X18H10T, total capacity - 900 l;
• sanitary unit of fresh water supplying to the consumers;
• filling line;
• airline;
• sluicing line;
• pipe fittings.

Sewage (Disposal) System

The system is for storage and disposal of sewage waters from shower rooms, lavatory bowls, wash stands of sanitary blocks and galley sinks. Storage is realized to sewage tanks; disposal - overboard if the ship is not within sanitary zone or to shore via flanged tube bend with flange of international sample.

The system includes:
• yacht lavatory bowls in set with pumps;
• sewage tanks;
• electric motor pump for sewage waters extraction;
• air, filling and bilge lines and pipe fittings.

Bilge System

Bilge system is for removal of water from ship's hull and its drainage overboard. There are scuppers for liquid flow in hull constructions.

The system includes:
• two dewatering [water-extraction] hand pumps;
• bladder electric motor pump;
• suction bends;
• piping and pipe fittings.

Ventilation System

On the yacht there is system of forced and natural ventilation, it is for air exchange in inner spaces, for removal of smells and providing of conveniences for passengers and crew.
Natural ventilation is carried out via skylights and deck reflectors. Forced exhaust ventilation serves only bathroom-and-lavatory equipment and galley. It is switched on from local button station in every lavatory cum bathroom in case of need. All outer openings of vent forcing in and exhausting heads are equipped with controlled stop mechanisms which are operated from inner yacht's spaces.

The system includes:
• turnable intake ventilation heads of WKT (VETUS) type;
• non-turnable exhaust heads;
• exhaust electric ventilator;
• vent air scoops [intakes] on deckhouse wall.

Electrical Equipment

Main Parameters

Direct current with voltage 24 V is used as main source of current on the yacht.

Electrical Generating Plant

Rectifier and accumulator batteries 1 Ox VETUS 143 AH are sources of direct current, voltage 24 V.
Converters are installed for energize of using equipment with parameters different from parameters of main source of current.
Generator, 3.6 kW, 220 V, 50 Hz ofGH4 VETUS type is the reserve source of current.

Distribution of Electrical Energy

For controlling of generators operation and distribution of electrical energy main switchboard is used. Critical consumers get energize immediately from the main switchboard, the rest consumers - from the main switchboard via sectional boards.

Electric Lighting

General lighting is carried by gas-discharging sources of lighting. Lights with clear lamps are used for local lighting and engine-room lighting.
In tanks compartments and dry compartments where people are from time to time, portable lighting with voltage 24 V of direct current with sockets at the entrance to these compartments is planned.
Sockets for portable lamps and searchlights are installed on the open parts of upper deck and deckhouses.

Energizing from Shore

There is possibility of energizing from shore via special panel. Means of Communication and Navigation
